Karis Blaker (she/they) is a librarian, historian, and archivist based in Chicago, IL. Historical research interests include queer communities, alternative print culture, and mythology & folklore. Follow Karis on Instagram @thequeerlibrarian for reading lists and book recommendations!
Spyke Gayfeather is co-host of Crooked Path Radio, WAPPA’s official podcast, and has been involved in occult, Pagan, and alternative spiritual communities for more than fifty years. An archivist and collector, his interests include witchcraft and occulture, Radical Faerie and queer history, and the preservation of Pagan, occult, and LGBTQ+ publications and ephemera. Much of his collection is now held by the Newberry Library. He is based in Portugal.
Daphna Romanoff is the founder of WAPPA and holds a BA in Communications from New York University and an MLIS from Queens College. Her interests include countercultures, particularly the music, film, punk and underground culture of 1970s and ’80s New York City; zines and independent publishing; and the history and representation of witchcraft, Paganism, and the occult in popular culture and children’s literature. She is co-host of WAPPA's podcast and is based in Sedona, Arizona.
